On November 25, 2013 (78 FR 70399), the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) published a notice acknowledging comments received from the Federal Register published on July 19, 2013 regarding the Paperless Hazard Communications Pilot Program for Hazardous Materials Shipping Papers and Emergency Response Information (78 FR 43263) and now requests for commenter’s to address the following four (4) issues: (1) Whether the proposed collection of information is necessary for the proper performance of the functions of PHMSA, including whether the information will have practical utility; (2) the accuracy of PHMSA’s estimate of the burden of the proposed information collection; (3) ways to enhance the quality, utility, and clarity of the information to be collected; and (4) ways to minimize the burden of the collection of information on respondents, including the use of automated collection techniques or other forms of information technology. Interested persons are invited to submit comments on or before December 26, 2013.
