On May 17, 2018 (83 FR 22865), the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) published a final rule in the federal register making technical corrections throughout the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations or 49 CFR Parts 350 – 398. FMCSA is making minor changes to correct inadvertent errors and omissions, remove or update obsolete references, ensure conformity with Office of the Federal Register style guidelines, and improve the clarity and consistency of certain regulatory provisions. This final rule is effective June 18, 2018.
